Halloweens round the corner ?
We know that at this time of year children shall consume more sweets than usual. To help prevent tooth decay here are some important tips to remember :
-Encourage your children to eat sweets at the end of a meal. It is the frequency of sugary foods which are bad for the teeth rather than the volume.
-Pause before brushing! Hurrying to the bathroom to brush after eating sweets may seem like a good idea, its better to wait. Brushing after acidic foods can actually cause damage to the teeth! We advise to wait at least 30 minutes.
-Drink more water! This helps wash away the sugar, reducing contact with the enamel.
Keep your teeth booooooooo-tiful ?
